Orchestra
An orchestra is a group of people that play lovely instruments. A conductor splits the instruments into their four families.The families are called string, brass, percussion and woodwind.
One of the string families is the string instruments . The string instruments are played by being plucked or rubbed by a bow. My favourite string instruments are the harp and violin.
Another family of instruments is the percussion section. The percussion family is played by hitting or striking with your hand or sticks. They can be played very loud.
The flute is an instrument in the woodwind section. Woodwind instruments were made out of wood along time ago, now they metal. To play a flute you blow into the mouth piece of the flute.
Lastly there is the brass family. The brass instruments are made out of shiny metal.
When these four musical families come together they make lovely music.
